With a full equipment change from existing fluorescent lamps to LED’s including Enlighted smart lighting controls, Mercy Jefferson Hospital will realize substantial annual savings of over 1,926,733 kWh from the retrofit. This represents an annual savings of $138,725. Expected savings over 5 and 10 years are $693,624 and $1,387,248 respectively. Savings within the hospital’s different uses will vary from the lowest (hallways/lobbies) of 70% to the highest within office and patient care with 88% and 80% respectively.
