Enlighted CEO and EDA Luminary Joe Costello Shares IoT Insights at Design Automation Conference 2017

Sunnyvale, Calif. – June 19, 2017 – Enlighted, Inc., the leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for commercial buildings, will keynote the Design Automation Conference June 18-22 in Austin, TX. Enlighted CEO Joe Costello will be presenting a session entitled “IOT: Tales from the Front Line” on Monday, June 19 at 9:15 a.m.

Costello’s extensive experience in electronic design automation (EDA) dates back 28 years. He became the CEO of Cadence Design Systems in 1987 and worked with the company from its inception until it became the largest EDA company in the world, with more than a billion dollars in annual revenue. In recognition of his service to the EDA industry, he was also awarded the Phil Kaufman award in 2004, the highest accolade in the industry.

Costello’s successful tech career has continued at Enlighted. The company boasts almost a decade of experience in commercial IoT with its system deployed in 20 percent of the Fortune 100 companies. Its customers include AT&T, LinkedIn, Uber, Gensler and more.

“While the implementation journey has been challenging, IoT is now more than a buzz-word – it’s real,” said Costello. “Enlighted IoT solutions are impacting the largest asset class in the world – commercial real estate – by giving buildings a ‘sensory system’ akin to a human body, which provides endless new opportunities to improve business processes through the data it unlocks. Working together, we are changing the way buildings operate, turning smart buildings into brilliant buildings.”
